You find yourself stranded on a semi-deserted island rife with mysteries and must scavenge for food, water, and materials to build shelter and weapons to protect yourself from the harsh environment and other players. You do not know what caused the downfall of society. Worldwide, a catastrophic event, possibly a viral outbreak or nuclear war, wiped out most of humanity. You will encounter remnants of the past civilization, such as abandoned buildings, bunkers, and research facilities. These structures often contain clues about what happened and the experiments that were being conducted before the collapse. You may encounter creatures or mutants that have been affected by the catastrophic event, such as mutants and zombies. These creatures are often the result of biological or chemical experiments gone wrong, and are a constant threat to your continued existance.
